Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid (or eligible for) state certification/license as a School Psychologist
- Experience in school-based psychological assessment, counseling, and consultation
- Strong understanding of RTI/MTSS, IEPs, and special education processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse students and staff
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students referred for evaluation
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans
- Provide individual and group counseling/intervention services to students as needed
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to support positive behavioral interventions and effective learning environments
- Assist with crisis intervention, prevention programs, and data-driven decision making
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation and comply with federal, state, and local regulations
