Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid School Psychologist license in North Carolina
  • Certified to work in K-12 settings
  • Experience supporting diverse caseloads spanning elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
  • Comfortable working full-time (37.5 hours per week) in a contract position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students K-12
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create intervention and support plans
  • Interpret testing data and present findings to multidisciplinary teams, contributing to IEP/504 meetings as needed
  • Support in the development and implementation of strategies to promote student success, mental health, and positive school climates
  • Contribute expertise for crisis intervention, behavioral consultation, and preventive practices within the school community
