This full-time opportunity near Wilmington, NC, offers the chance to work across elementary, middle, and high school populations in partnership with supportive educational teams. At 37.5 hours per week, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the mental, emotional, and academic well-being of students across the district.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold current School Psychologist certification and NC licensure
  • Experience with K-12 student populations preferred
  • Skilled in conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
  • Familiarity with best practices in school psychology within elementary, middle, and high school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct formal psychological evaluations and assessments for students referred across K-12 grade levels
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to determine student needs and contribute to the development of IEPs and intervention plans
  • Provide consultative support to school staff regarding behavioral, academic, and social-emotional concerns
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with state and federal requirements
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive school climate
