Middle School High School School Psychologist in Wilmington, NC

Begin an exciting contract-based opportunity supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Work full-time (37.5 hours per week) near Wilmington, NC, providing essential psychological services within a school environment. This role has a K-12 caseload, allowing you to make a difference at every educational level and contribute to student growth and well-being.

Key Qualifications:

• Must have active School Psychologist licensure in North Carolina
• Experience working with K-12 student populations (elementary, middle, and high school)
• Certified in School Psychology
• Strong skills in evaluations and conducting assessments
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students referred by teachers or support staff
• Provide consultation and recommendations as part of a collaborative team for individualized education plans (IEPs), behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and other student support services
• Work directly with students in need of counseling, assessment, or intervention
• Communicate assessment findings and recommendations to school personnel and families in an accessible, supportive manner
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with all state and district regulations
• Assist with crisis intervention and preventative programs as needed
