Make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ growth and development across a dynamic group of elementary, middle, and high school campuses in the Winnetka area. The upcoming school year offers full-time contract opportunities for dedicated, Illinois-licensed School Psychologists, with placements available from August 26, 2026, through June 11, 2027.

Two roles are currently open for passionate professionals:

  • Early Childhood School Psychologist (0.6 FTE | 3 days/week): Evaluate and screen children transitioning from early intervention services, traveling between local preschools as you lead functional assessments and collaborate closely with families and educational teams. Strong communication skills and knowledge of early childhood special education law and best practices are essential.

  • School Psychologist (Grades K–4 | Full-time, 5 days/week): Take a leading role in student evaluations, facilitate MTSS data team meetings, guide teams and families through the IEP process, and handle both initial and re-evaluation meetings. Expertise in special education law and a commitment to clear communication are key.

What we’re seeking:

  • Active Illinois PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement
  • Previous school-based experience (elementary, middle, or high) is a plus
  • Comfort coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and diverse families
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
  • Knowledge of functional behavioral assessments, eligibility meetings, and IEP processes

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and functional behavioral assessments
  • Attend and facilitate IEP and MTSS meetings
  • Serve as a collaborative partner with teachers, families, and special education staff
  • Provide clear, compassionate support for families navigating special education
