Qualifications:

  • Licensed School Psychologist in the State of Illinois (required)
  • Experience in early childhood, elementary, or K-12 settings preferred
  • Deep understanding of special education law and best practices in evaluations
  • Strong communication skills with families, team members, and partners
  • Ability to travel between school sites as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct re-evaluation, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments
  • Perform initial student evaluations as needed
  • Early Childhood role: screen and evaluate children transitioning from early intervention, frequent travel between preschools, attend IEP meetings
  • K-4 role: evaluate students, facilitate MTSS data team meetings, support IEP processes, lead meetings and re-evaluations
