As a School Psychologist in this travel position, you will grow your skillset by working across a range of age groups, engaging with different teams and participating in a variety of assessment and intervention processes. What We’re Looking For:

  • Current School Psychologist license in Illinois
  • Experience with elementary, middle, and high school caseloads, or early childhood (depending on the assignment)
  • Strong communication skills, especially when supporting families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Solid understanding of special education law and best practices for evaluation and intervention
  • Ability to commute within Winnetka as needed for early childhood roles

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct re-evaluations, functional behavioral assessments, and initial eligibility meetings
  • For early childhood: Screen/evaluate ages 3–5, guide families new to special education, coordinate among various preschools, and attend IEP meetings
  • For K-4: Evaluate students, facilitate MTSS team meetings, support IEP development and re-evaluations
  • Collaborate and communicate clearly with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
