Key Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist license in Illinois required
  • Experience with K-12 caseloads; early childhood evaluation experience preferred
  • Knowledge of special education law and evaluation best practices
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple local school sites

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments
  • Complete initial and ongoing student evaluations (across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school populations)
  • Attend and facilitate IEP/MTSS meetings and support multidisciplinary teams
  • Communicate effectively with families and staff, providing guidance and support throughout the special education process
