What we’re looking for:
- Valid licensure as a School Psychologist
- Certification to serve K-12 student populations
- Experience working within elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Solid understanding of current educational laws and best practices
- Outstanding communication and consultation abilities
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing interventions
- Adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about empowering students of all backgrounds
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret data to identify student strengths and needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect counseling, crisis intervention, and recommendations for behavior management
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to create safe, supportive learning environments
- Offer guidance on evidence-based strategies to foster academic and social-emotional growth
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality standards
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and school-wide initiatives
