Elementary Certified School Psychologist - Winooski, Vermont

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a valid School Psychologist license and appropriate certification
• Demonstrated experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, and interventions across K-12 schools
• Comfortable working with a diverse student population spanning elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, current mental health practices, and school-based support systems
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to partner with teachers, families, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention plans

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individual and group counseling services
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and evaluate intervention strategies
• Contribute to the development of IEPs and participate in eligibility meetings as needed
• Provide crisis intervention and consultative support for staff, students, and families
• Maintain accurate case records and confidential student information
• Foster an inclusive, positive environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic success
