Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist license and appropriate certification
- Demonstrated experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, and interventions across K-12 schools
- Comfortable working with a diverse student population spanning elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, current mental health practices, and school-based support systems
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to partner with teachers, families, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individual and group counseling services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and evaluate intervention strategies
- Contribute to the development of IEPs and participate in eligibility meetings as needed
- Provide crisis intervention and consultative support for staff, students, and families
- Maintain accurate case records and confidential student information
- Foster an inclusive, positive environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic success
