Licensed Middle School School Psychologist - Winooski, VT

What we’re looking for:

• Valid licensure as a School Psychologist
• Certification to serve K-12 student populations
• Experience working within elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
• Solid understanding of current educational laws and best practices
• Outstanding communication and consultation abilities
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing interventions
• Adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about empowering students of all backgrounds

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret data to identify student strengths and needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct and indirect counseling, crisis intervention, and recommendations for behavior management
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to create safe, supportive learning environments
• Offer guidance on evidence-based strategies to foster academic and social-emotional growth
• Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality standards
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and school-wide initiatives
