Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and valid School Psychologist license in North Carolina
  • Certification for work in school settings (elementary, middle, and high school)
  • Prior experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
  • Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments and diverse student needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a varied caseload efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer a variety of formal and informal psychological assessments and collaborate in IEP/504 planning
  • Provide comprehensive evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
  • Consult regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to develop data-driven intervention strategies
  • Support students’ social-emotional growth through targeted counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation
  • Maintain detailed, timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Serve as a resource for best practices regarding student mental health, learning challenges, and crisis response
