Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Proven experience in conducting comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
- Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
- Ability to manage caseloads and fulfill documentation requirements in a timely manner
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct cognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement interventions and action plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise on accommodations and supports
- Provide direct counseling or crisis intervention services to students as needed
- Deliver professional development and training for staff on topics such as mental health and behavior management
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all ethical, legal, and procedural standards
