What You’ll Bring:
- Valid Virginia Department of Education certification and VA Psychologist Licensure
- Strong background in conducting assessments, Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), and supporting Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and providing consultation to staff and families
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and ability to work with elementary and middle school populations
- Ability to begin credentialing steps quickly, including VA Dept. of Social Services background check and TB test
Your Impact:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and consultative services for students at one elementary and one middle school
- Serve as a resource for school teams by supporting FBA/BIP development, MTSS, and at times, counseling collaboration with social workers
- Enjoy a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm, with a flexible approach—work on-site with the option for one remote day each week
- Focus exclusively on psychological and behavioral needs; academic achievement testing is managed by Educational Diagnosticians
