Start your journey in August and provide vital services throughout the academic year.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Valid Virginia Department of Education certification and VA Psychologist Licensure
  • Strong background in conducting assessments, Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), and supporting Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP)
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and providing consultation to staff and families
  • Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and ability to work with elementary and middle school populations
  • Ability to begin credentialing steps quickly, including VA Dept. of Social Services background check and TB test

Your Impact:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and consultative services for students at one elementary and one middle school
  • Serve as a resource for school teams by supporting FBA/BIP development, MTSS, and at times, counseling collaboration with social workers
  • Enjoy a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm, with a flexible approach—work on-site with the option for one remote day each week
  • Focus exclusively on psychological and behavioral needs; academic achievement testing is managed by Educational Diagnosticians
