School Psychologist - Woodbridge, Virginia

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Active or eligible School Psychologist certification/license
• Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of psychological assessment, intervention strategies, and educational law/ethics
• Effective collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to manage caseloads, prioritize needs, and work independently

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility determination
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
• Deliver direct and consultative counseling services to students, individually or in groups
• Support data-driven interventions that address the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students
• Attend and actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Engage in crisis intervention, consultation, and prevention efforts within the school community
• Maintain documentation and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines
