Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible School Psychologist certification/license
- Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment, intervention strategies, and educational law/ethics
- Effective collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage caseloads, prioritize needs, and work independently
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility determination
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
- Deliver direct and consultative counseling services to students, individually or in groups
- Support data-driven interventions that address the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students
- Attend and actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Engage in crisis intervention, consultation, and prevention efforts within the school community
- Maintain documentation and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines
