Key Qualifications:
- Current state certification and licensure as a school psychologist.
- Experience in high school educational settings strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) frameworks.
- Proficiency in Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) and Behavior Support Planning (BSP).
- Skilled in conducting Special Education eligibility assessments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable providing direct services and consultation to students as needed.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in and facilitate MTSS processes, collaborating with other school professionals to address students' academic, social, and behavioral needs.
- Coordinate and conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop effective Behavior Support Plans in partnership with instructional staff and families.
- Lead Special Education eligibility assessments and provide expert input in meetings.
- Deliver targeted direct student services, such as counseling and intervention, as assigned.
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and reports in compliance with legal and district standards.
- Foster positive relationships with students, educators, and parents to create a supportive school climate.
