Qualifications and Credentials:
- Valid Washington State School Psychologist certification required
- Experience with a range of disabilities, from mild to severe, is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with the elementary and middle school student population
- Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments, develop and interpret IEPs, and implement interventions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
- Participate actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Implement evidence-based interventions and progress monitoring tools
- Help foster a positive, supportive learning environment
