Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain certification
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
• Previous experience working in educational settings preferred
• Strong assessment and report-writing skills
• Proficiency in delivering individual and group counseling
• Knowledge of relevant laws and ethical guidelines (IDEA, Section 504, etc.)
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students through testing, observations, and interviews
• Interpret assessment results to help develop effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development
• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention when needed
• Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and problem-solving teams
• Offer guidance for behavior management and social-emotional learning initiatives
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation
