Exciting opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist seeking a part-time contract role with a meaningful impact! This position involves providing essential psychological services within a center-based program supporting a diverse population of students aged 3 to 26. The program serves learners from across the county who have met eligibility criteria for MoCI, SCI, and SXI, offering a unique chance to make a difference in the lives of students with a range of abilities.
Work approximately 20 hours a week, with the flexibility to choose between half-days Monday through Friday or concentrated work over 2.5 days per week. You will collaborate closely as part of a two-person team, joining another experienced school psychologist on site for support and collaboration.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with MoCI, SCI, and SXI eligibilities beneficial
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological re-evaluations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A compassionate approach to supporting students with special needs, spanning early childhood through young adulthood
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct re-evaluations for students ages 3-26 as the primary focus
- Collaborate with another on-site school psychologist and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all compliance and ethical regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to IEP processes
