This part-time position supports a vibrant center program serving students ages 3 to 26 with diverse learning needs, including those with Multiple or Severe Cognitive Impairments and Severe Multiple Impairments. With approximately 20 hours per week, you can enjoy a schedule that fits your lifestyle—opt for half-days Monday through Friday, or cover your hours in 2.5 days each week.
In this collaborative environment, you will join another experienced school psychologist, making teamwork and professional support a cornerstone of your daily work. Your primary focus will be leading re-evaluations to ensure ongoing student support and compliance with educational standards, playing a crucial role in shaping positive student outcomes across the county.
What we’re seeking:
- State certification/licensure as a school psychologist required
- Experience with students with significant cognitive and/or multiple disabilities preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work closely with interdisciplinary teams, families, and educators
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered practices
What you'll do:
- Conduct comprehensive re-evaluations for students with MoCI, SCI, and SXI eligibilities
- Engage in assessment, data analysis, and reporting to inform individualized education plans
- Collaborate daily with another psychologist and wider educational team
- Provide consultation to staff and families regarding student needs and supports
- Maintain thorough records in accordance with state and local guidelines
