Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active Texas School Psychologist license required
  • Background in conducting psycho-educational assessments for elementary-age youth
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to efficiently manage 3-4 evaluations per week
  • Experience working in an itinerant capacity is a plus
  • Collaborative and flexible, thriving in dynamic school settings

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for K-5 students as part of special education eligibility and programming
  • Prepare detailed reports and present findings at multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Travel between assigned campuses as needed within the district
  • Coordinate with teachers, special educators, and administrators to support student learning plans
  • Adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality practices in all evaluations and documentation
