Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid state certification or license as a school psychologist.
  • Master’s or specialist degree in school psychology or a related field.
  • Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments in a school setting.
  • Well-versed in IEP processes and compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to complete documentation and participate in virtual meetings.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all required student assessments onsite to evaluate needs related to learning, behavior, and mental health.
  • Prepare thorough assessment reports, which may be completed remotely.
  • Attend IEP meetings virtually and/or onsite as district guidelines allow.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor student intervention plans.
  • Provide consultation and support to school teams regarding student strategies, behavioral supports, and crisis intervention.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school environment to promote student success and well-being.
