Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Virginia State Psychologist License required
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings highly preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong assessment, report writing, and counseling abilities
- Adaptable and resourceful mindset, ready to support diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct timely evaluations and re-evaluations for students in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide consultation and intervention strategies for faculty and parents regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing data-driven recommendations and support
- Deliver individual and group counseling as needed to promote student well-being
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to professional and ethical standards
