A full-time School Psychologist position is available to serve a K-12 caseload, with a focus primarily on elementary students. This 26/27 school year contract offers an opportunity to work within a school setting located in Yorktown, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments and evaluations for students K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop interventions and support plans
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Monitor student progress and adjust services as needed
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services when necessary
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state laws and district policies
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Virginia State Psychologist License
- Experience working in a school environment preferred
- Ability to manage a full K-12 caseload, with emphasis on elementary grade students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse school communities
- Knowledge of assessment tools, educational laws, and intervention strategies
Location: Yorktown, VA
Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
