In this contract role, you’ll work district-wide, collaborating with fellow educators and administrators to make a positive impact in students’ educational journeys.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in educational psychology or closely related field
- Completion of at least one year of supervised internship under a credentialed school psychologist
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in school settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments, interpreting results to identify students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for qualifying students
- Provide counseling, crisis interventions, and consultation services for students, families, and staff
- Foster positive relationships with students and support their social and emotional well-being
- Work with diverse teams to promote safe, supportive learning environments across the district
- Participate in meetings, ongoing professional development, and special projects as required
