As an integral member of the school community, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to foster a positive educational environment. Onsite responsibilities ensure you’ll be actively involved in assessments, team meetings, and the delivery of direct services to students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience providing psychological services in educational settings
- Skilled in psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and counseling
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort working with K-12 populations
- Willingness to be onsite daily for the duration of the contract
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and behavioral assessments
- Interpret assessment results and recommend evidence-based strategies
- Deliver direct and consultative support to students, teachers, and parents
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and student support teams
- Assist in the development of programs promoting mental health and academic growth
- Maintain appropriate documentation and adhere to ethical guidelines
