Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential or state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience providing psychological services to school-aged children
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, special education assessments, and progress monitoring
  • Skills in consultation, behavioral intervention, and counseling
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Compassionate and flexible with a commitment to supporting diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and write comprehensive reports
  • Participate in meetings to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create supportive academic and social environments
  • Consult with parents and offer strategies to help students succeed both academically and emotionally
  • Support school-wide initiatives that promote positive mental health and student well-being
