Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience providing psychological services to school-aged children
- Strong understanding of IEP development, special education assessments, and progress monitoring
- Skills in consultation, behavioral intervention, and counseling
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate and flexible with a commitment to supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and write comprehensive reports
- Participate in meetings to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create supportive academic and social environments
- Consult with parents and offer strategies to help students succeed both academically and emotionally
- Support school-wide initiatives that promote positive mental health and student well-being
