School Therapist in Agua Dulce, TX

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working in a school setting preferred, but open to candidates eager to support young learners in an educational environment
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned students
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school requirements
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student achievement
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and offer resources as needed
