School Therapist - Banquete, Texas

Make a real impact as a School Therapist specializing as an SLP-CCC in a rewarding contract role. This position places you on the front lines of educational support, collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to promote students’ progress and confidence. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Eligible for, or possess, a current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but strong clinical skills will be considered
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students referred for speech and language services
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication needs
• Work closely with teachers and families to integrate therapy goals within the classroom and at home
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and collaborative planning
• Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers as needed
