You'll work directly on campus, providing essential support and interventions as part of multidisciplinary teams across multiple school sites.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• National Certification as a Music Therapist
• Specialized knowledge of music therapy procedures, strategies, and equipment
• Demonstrated experience working with students with disabilities, including autism and other developmental differences
• Strong skills in assessment protocols and documentation related to IEPs
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
• Flexibility to travel between campuses and adapt to itinerant scheduling
• Willingness to participate in professional development and adhere to district policies
• District fingerprinting clearance (or ability to obtain)

Your impact will include:

• Delivering tailored individual and group music therapy sessions within school settings
• Assessing students’ needs and determining eligibility for services
• Collaborating with ARD committees, developing IEP goals, and interpreting assessment results
• Consulting with educational teams and parents to maximize support for students
• Providing in-service training to help school personnel understand music therapy programs
• Developing, coordinating, and evaluating program progress and effectiveness
