This contract role, situated near San Acacia, NM, offers the chance to support compensatory minutes and manage an existing caseload at the elementary level. The position is open to both local and out-of-state licensed professionals. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Recreational Therapy or related field
• Valid Recreational Therapist license; out-of-state licenses considered (candidates can start with PED pending)
• Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, patient, and adept at engaging children in therapeutic activities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapeutic services to elementary-aged students, both onsite and via teletherapy
• Address compensatory minute requirements while efficiently managing a diverse caseload
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement effective therapy plans
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to necessary reports and meetings
