This position offers a flexible weekly schedule, with options for either a traditional 5-day workweek or a condensed 2-day schedule (Tuesday and Wednesday), totaling 37.5 hours per week. As an American Sign Language Interpreter, you will foster a positive and supportive environment, delivering essential 1:1 assistance tailored to your student’s unique needs. Collaboration and enthusiasm are key, as you will be an active partner in creating an inclusive atmosphere alongside fellow teachers.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience working with students with hearing and vision impairments preferred

- Ability to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 ASL interpretation for a 7th grade student within the classroom setting
