Two dedicated SLIs are needed for full-time roles, working 40 hours each week. Qualifications and Experience:
- Possess a minimum EIPA score of 3.5
- Eligible for the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Educational Interpreter Certificate
- Proficiency in American Sign Language with a strong commitment to supporting student access
- Experience supporting children or teens in educational settings is highly valued
- Adaptable and collaborative, ready to serve a diverse range of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language in classroom and school settings for deaf and hard-of-hearing students
- Support teachers and staff by bridging communication gaps, ensuring students have full access to curriculum and activities
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for learning and social participation
- Collaborate with other educators and school professionals to tailor interpreting services to individual student needs
