Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to understand lesson content and context for optimal interpreting.
  • Adjust interpreting methods to suit individual student needs and varying educational settings.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute insights regarding students’ communication needs.
  • Uphold all district and professional guidelines for educational interpreters.
