Qualifications:
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with demonstrated interpreting skills.
- Experience in educational settings interpreting for children or adolescents, preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal talents.

- Commitment to cultural sensitivity and confidentiality.
- Applicable state or national certification for interpreters (or willingness to obtain as required).
Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into sign language (and vice versa) during classroom lessons, assemblies, meetings, and school activities.
- Support understanding between students, teachers, and staff.
- Foster an inclusive environment, adapting to the individual communication needs of each student.
