Step into a rewarding contract position where your expertise as a Sign Language Interpreter will support and empower young learners each day. This full-year opportunity spans from July 29 through May 25, providing a consistent schedule of 8:05 a.m. to 3:35 p.m. You'll work with students from early childhood through third grade, making a meaningful impact across mainstream classrooms, DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) environments, and collaborative sessions alongside dedicated service providers.

Desired Experience & Skills:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and interpreting within educational settings
- Experience supporting students in mainstream and DHH classrooms
- Ability to adapt to varied student needs and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other service providers
- Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills
- Relevant certification or licensure in sign language interpretation is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret classroom instruction, peer interactions, and extracurricular activities for students EC-3rd grade
- Foster an inclusive environment by bridging communication between students, staff, and families
- Support the educational and social success of students with diverse needs
- Work with multiple students throughout the school day, adapting to various subjects and instructional styles
- Collaborate with educators and specialized teams to address individual goals and accommodations
