This position is onsite, covering the academic year from August 10, 2026, through May 26, 2027, and offers a steady schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Work 1:1 with an early elementary student in a highly regarded and supportive environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum EIPA Score of 3.5 is required
  • Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in school or educational settings
  • Knowledge of developmental and educational needs of young children
  • Ability to effectively interpret communications between students, educators, and peers
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams, including school psychologists

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sign language interpretation services in a 1:1 setting to support student learning and inclusion
  • Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, and classmates in classroom and activity settings
  • Collaborate closely with educational staff to address student goals and progress
  • Support the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) and facilitate access to curriculum
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards
