Desired Qualifications:
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Prior school-based experience highly preferred
- RID Certification and/or EIPA score preferred but not required
- Experience supporting students 1:1 or tutoring is a plus
- Adaptable, collaborative, and committed to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a communication bridge for one assigned student (preschool or 5th grade)
- Support learning comprehension, tutor, and build ASL vocabulary
- Collaborate with teachers, Director of Special Education, and other support staff
- Participate in a virtual interview to determine the best student match
