Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with a range of communication modes used in educational settings
- Previous experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter, ideally within schools or similar environments
- National Interpreter Certification (NIC) or equivalent state qualification preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, with a commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality
- Ability to adapt interpretation style to match student needs and classroom dynamics
- Dedicated, reliable, and flexible to adapt to changing schedules and assignments
Primary Responsibilities:
