Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Chehalis, WA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and proficiency in interpreting between ASL and spoken English
• Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, ideally in a school or similar educational environment
• Familiarity with IEPs and accommodating diverse student needs
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow school protocols
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, educators, and families
• Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (or able to obtain before start date)

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret classroom instruction, assemblies, extracurricular activities, and school events for a high school student
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support accessible learning
