Key Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Quality Assurance Screening (VQAS) Level III
• Strong preference for EIPA Score of 3.5+ (will consider 3.0+ for interview) or QAS Score of 3+
• Experience as a sign language interpreter in school settings, specifically comfortable with 1:1 elementary student assignments
• Willingness to support students at multiple campuses as needed
• Proficiency or familiarity with Visaphonics is a plus, but not required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 sign language interpretation for assigned elementary student
• Offer coverage as needed across campuses if your assigned student is absent
• Foster clear communication between students and school staff
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to ensure accommodations and support
