Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current National Sign Language Interpreter Certification is required
• Proven experience in school environments preferred
• High proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in classroom and school activities
• Facilitate understanding and communication between students, teachers, and peers
• Adapt interpretation style to best meet individual student needs
