This position is available for immediate start and is set through May 25, 2027, offering 30 hours per week. As a member of the educational team, you will ensure that students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing have equal access to the classroom environment and school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver interpreting services for a PreK student in various school settings, including classroom instruction, events, and meetings.
• Enable clear communication pathways between students, teachers, staff, and peers.
• Foster an inclusive educational atmosphere by supporting the student’s daily learning and social needs.
• Ensure compliance with student accommodation plans (IEPs) and all school policies.
• Partner with classroom teachers and special education staff to address and meet the unique needs of the student.
• Uphold strict professional standards, including confidentiality and ethical conduct.

Desired Qualifications:

• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (required).
• Valid Sign Language Interpreter certification/credentials.
