Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Active Georgia Educator Certificate for Sign Language Interpreters
  • EIPA score of 3.5 or above
  • Commitment to onsite service—remote (VOCO) candidates are not eligible
  • Willingness to complete daily service logs
  • Flexibility to adapt as caseloads are determined in collaboration with district leaders

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct sign language interpreting services in educational settings
  • Partner with school staff to ensure seamless communication for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
  • Complete and maintain accurate daily documentation of services
  • Demonstrate adaptability to varied age groups and individual student needs
  • Engage in pre- and post-planning activities as needed
