Educational Interpreter - Commerce City, Colorado

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an EIPA 4.0 certification or higher
• Demonstrated experience in educational settings, preferably working 1:1 with students
• Fluency in American Sign Language and familiarity with interpreting in classroom environments
• Ability to collaborate with educators and staff to ensure effective communication
• Clear background check and adherence to school district protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

• Interpret spoken language into sign language and vice versa for a single elementary-aged student
• Facilitate communication in all classroom, small group, and school-related activities
• Support teachers by providing feedback and sharing insights that support student engagement
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in accordance with educational standards
• Assist with any additional interpreting needs as determined by the student’s educational team

Position Highlights:

• Full-time contract schedule, 37.5 hours per week
• School calendar dates: August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027
