Qualifications & Experience:
- GA DOE SLI License (must possess and be ready to present upon applying)
- Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language and interpreting within school settings
- Experience providing 1:1 sign language interpretation services is preferred
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Deliver 1:1 sign language interpreting support to a student in an onsite capacity
- Split time between Alliance Academy (part time) and a floating assignment as needed
- Collaborate closely with educational staff to ensure clarity, inclusion, and communication access
- Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and sensitivity in a dynamic school environment
- Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical standards consistent with educational interpreting
