Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with proven interpreting expertise, preferably in an educational setting
- Previous experience supporting individuals who are medically fragile is highly valued
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with assistive communication strategies and adapting interpretation for young children
- Patience, empathy, and exceptional communication skills
- Certification or relevant credentials as required by local and state guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear, accurate sign language interpretation for a PreK student during classroom instruction and activities
