Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Experience interpreting in school settings or similar educational environments
• Ability to facilitate clear, accurate communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing students and staff
• Strong understanding of student privacy and professional ethics
• Preferred: National Interpreter Certification (NIC), EIPA, or state credential for educational interpreting
