Bring your energy and outgoing personality to this rewarding role, working alongside experienced teachers in a self-contained classroom. Both full-time (37.5 hours/week, 5 days) and part-time (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) schedules are available, so you can find a structure that works for you.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL); certification strongly preferred
  • Experience as an educational Sign Language Interpreter
  • Comfortable supporting students with both hearing and visual challenges
  • Positive, outgoing approach and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with classroom staff and adapt to daily routines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide real-time ASL interpretation and communication support 1:1 for a 7th-grade student
  • Facilitate access to classroom instruction and school activities
  • Collaborate closely with teaching staff to adapt content and provide cues for student engagement
