Job Title: School-Based Sign Language Interpreter

Location: 20 miles outside of Atlanta, GA
Employment Type: Full-time
School Year: 2026-2027
Caseload: 1:1 interpreting for a high school freshman

Soliant is seeking a skilled and dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to join our team. If you are passionate about facilitating communication and making a difference in the lives of students with hearing impairments, we encourage you to apply!
Compensation: $34-38/hour, dependent on qualifications and experience

What We're Looking For:
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Must have EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) of 3.5
• Experience working as a sign language interpreter in an educational setting preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a high school setting preferred

What You'll Do:
• Provide sign language interpretation services for a student in a school setting
• Assist in classroom instruction and activities by interpreting spoken language into sign
language
• Support student in understanding and participating in classroom discussions and
activities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective
communication
• Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for student with hearing
impairments
