Sign Language Interpreter in Eagle Point, OR

We are seeking four skilled professionals to provide essential communication access for K-12 learners during the full 2026-2027 school year. You will collaborate with educators and staff in a supportive environment dedicated to student success.

This full-time, contract position is available throughout schools in Rosenburg and Douglas, Oregon. As part of a highly valued team, you’ll use your expertise to foster inclusive classroom experiences and promote equal opportunity for every child.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Sign Language Interpreter Certification/Licensure for Oregon
• Proven experience in educational settings, preferably K-12
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and transliteration techniques
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for partnering with teachers, students, and families
• Ability to work onsite throughout the entire 2026-2027 academic year

Key Duties:

• Provide direct interpreting services during classroom instruction and school activities
• Support deaf and hard-of-hearing students across grade levels by facilitating clear and accurate communication
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to address individual student needs and ensure their inclusion
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Participate in ongoing training, meetings, and professional development sessions as needed
