Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Eagle Point, OR

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Oregon Sign Language Interpreter Certification or Licensure required
• Strong fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English
• Experience working within K-12 school settings is highly valued
• Ability to adapt interpreting techniques for various age groups and educational needs
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation services between spoken English and ASL for students, staff, and families in educational settings
• Support instruction and classroom communications, both one-on-one and in group environments
• Adapt interpreting styles to suit a range of student ages and educational content
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in developing communication access plans where necessary
• Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and team members to identify and implement best practices for student success
• Maintain accurate records of services and ongoing communication with school personnel

This is a full-time, onsite role with assignments based in Rosenburg and Douglas, Oregon, spanning from August 24, 2026 through June 11, 2027. Work alongside a team of dedicated professionals and contribute to an inclusive, supportive academic community.
