Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter, with a minimum EIPA score of 4.0.
- Previous experience working in an educational environment, especially in a 1:1 capacity, is highly valued.
- Strong command of American Sign Language and the ability to facilitate clear, effective communication between student and staff.
- Knowledge of school protocols and the ability to collaborate with teachers and educational teams.
- Professionalism, dependability, and a compassionate approach to supporting students’ learning needs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site interpreting services for a third-grade student, ensuring full access to classroom instruction and activities.
- Adapt communication strategies based on the student’s needs and classroom context.

- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality at all times.
