As part of this assignment, you'll be integral to a team that primarily supports Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing (DHH) students alongside additional classroom aides.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter; relevant licensure required
  • Previous experience in an educational or school-based setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for team-based environments
  • Flexibility and adaptability to varied student needs and caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate communication in classroom settings between students, teachers, and peers
  • Collaborate closely with DHH staff and classroom support personnel
  • Adapt interpreting practices to best serve assigned students
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
