Educational Interpreter - Fishers, IN

A full-time Sign Language Interpreter position is available in Fishers, IN, providing one-on-one support to an early elementary student. This contract role involves working closely with the student throughout the school day, helping to facilitate effective communication and learning through American Sign Language (ASL).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily one-on-one interpretation services for an early elementary student
• Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, and classmates using ASL
• Support the student’s educational and social development in the classroom environment
• Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt lessons and communication methods as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards in all interactions

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and prior experience as a Sign Language Interpreter
• Experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting

• Ability to commit to a full-time schedule of 7 hours per day, Monday through Friday
