Qualifications:

  • Nationally recognized Sign Language Interpreter credentials
  • Minimum 3.0 EIPA score required
  • Successful completion of fingerprinting/background check (previous valid FL prints may be transferable via the AHCA Clearinghouse)
  • Ability to secure JLA badge prior to start date
  • Experience in school settings and supporting DHH students strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality sign language interpretation for elementary-aged students
  • Support DHH students 1:1 and in small groups
  • Collaborate closely with educational staff for student support and inclusion
  • Maintain compliance with school and district protocols and credentialing requirements
