A professional Sign Language Interpreter is needed to support communication access in educational settings within Fountain, CO. This travel position offers the opportunity to work in diverse school environments, facilitating effective communication between Deaf and hard-of-hearing students, their peers, teachers, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events.
- Facilitate communication in one-on-one and group settings to ensure equal access to education.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to accommodate students' communication needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards.
- Prepare and review materials to assist with interpretation and classroom support.

Qualifications and Experience:
