Key Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with demonstrated experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings.
• Ability to interpret accurately and impartially between students, staff, and families.
• Experience teaching or assisting with ASL instruction, supporting curriculum delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, working effectively with both students and educational teams.
• Certification as an ASL Interpreter or related credentials preferred.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing student needs and schedules.

Role Overview:

• Provide direct sign language interpretation services for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, both in classroom settings and during school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to facilitate accessible instruction and maximize student participation.
• Assist in developing and delivering ASL instructional support as needed, reinforcing student learning objectives.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in accordance with educational standards.
